Personal Wedding RSVP website
For our wedding, I set out to make our own custom landing page without using a pre-made template.
At this time, the images of the site will be withheld.
Highlight: Information is neatly organized across only a few pages.
The home page displays the most sought-out information, like the date & time, location, and attire guidelines. The other pages include the wedding party list, lodging recommendations, registry details, and an invite-only RSVP form.
Highlight: Tropical color scheme that matches our venue theme.
The palette is inviting, and comforting. Relax in, pour a drink, listen to the music, and enjoy the evening with us!
Highlight: RSVPs use secure codes, and update automatically on submission to a Google Sheets document.
To handle RSVPs, there is a cool system hooked up to a Google Sheets document that tracks the invitations responses, plus-ones, and special requests. It was “keyword” protected, where guests received them in emails with links to open their personal invitation directly. Looking back, the Google Sheets integration was a bit of a chore to manage, and a database would have sufficed, but that was too much work for a month-long project.
